Chief Warrant Officer Two David W. Jordan was born on 27 January 1956 in Homestead, Florida. He served at Fort Rucker, Alabama, before arriving at Fort Campbell, Kentucky as a pilot for Charlie Company, 158th Aviation Battalion.
CW2 Jordan died on 26 August 1983 when the UH-60A Black Hawk helicopter, #993, he was test flying crashed near Christian County, Kentucky.
CW2 Jordan is survived by his wife, Brenda. He is laid at Arlington National Cemetery, Section 65, Site 1504.
