Craig Kuphall

Treasurer

Originally from Wisconsin, Craig received a bachelor's degree in Political Science from Marquette University and was commissioned as an Army Aviation officer in 2007. He deployed to Afghanistan twice as an AH-64D Apache pilot in command, air mission commander, and company commander.

Craig then joined the 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment (SOAR) in 2014 and was assigned to A/1-160th flying the MH-6M "Little Bird." He served in multiple positions and deployed several more times in the 160th SOAR before transitioning to the U.S. Army Reserves in 2019.

Craig attended Vanderbilt's Owen Graduate School of Management, receiving an MBA in 2021. He worked as a defense tech innovation program manager for the Civil Military Innovation Institute. Craig then founded Axon Defense Systems, a company focused on blast overpressure protection for the U.S. military and law enforcement.

He lives in Nashville, TN with his wife, Josette, and two children.
